Reviewing Julien’s “The Collection of Bette Midler” Auction

Better Midler is every bit a star now as she has been throughout her Hollywood career. And her celebrity? Oh yea, it’s worth quite a bit.

Julien’s held their “The Collection of Bette Midler” auction over the weekend and to say it went well would be an understatement. You had an anticipate several items selling for more than their high estimates, but the vast majority of lots soared greatly beyond their high estimates. It was another prime example of Julien’s doing things exactly the way they should be done, and Bette Midler proving she’s far from out of the picture.

Below is a quick look at some of the most notables lots sold and their hammer prices.

Notable Costumes Sold:

  • Lot #144, Cher Dress Designed By Bob Mackie sold for $10,240
  • Lot #224, Bette Midler Sailor Costume sold for $10,000
  • Lot #251, Bette Midler Crystal Platform Shoes sold for $10,000
  • Lot #298, Bette Midler’s Delores De Lago Costume sold for $8,320

Notable Props Sold:
